A woman sat with milky white eyes blind for years unable to see anything around her. Nearby a young woman in her early twenties writhed in excruciating abdominal pain. Specialists in Manila had found no answers so her family traveled three and a half hours as a last resort to the local witch doctor. A man lay paralyzed on one side from two strokes and a lifeless infant burned with a fever estimated at one hundred five point five to one hundred six degrees Fahrenheit.
These conditions seemed beyond human help with limited access to medical care far from the city.
Professionals had given up but Mike knew something greater was at play. He believed believers are called to step into these situations with divine power as part of the authority of the ecclesia.

Remembering how Jesus prayed twice for a blind man Mike prayed again watching closely with fingers parted. Suddenly the milky white began to dissipate. Her eyes cleared and color returned. She could see. Her first words were loud in Filipino. When asked what she said the pastor replied she said he is white.
She had seen Mike a white man in the village for the first time.

They moved on and saw a stroke victim stand up punching the air and kicking his leg after strength returned. An infant’s fever broke instantly upon touch and the baby lifted its head alert and looking around.

As they walked Mike spotted a group helping the young woman in agony up the stairs to the witch doctor’s house.
He called out do not go in there Jesus will heal you.
They continued so he followed boldly into the house. Inside the witch doctor admitted he could do nothing. Mike stepped forward and asked the young woman if he could pray. With permission he touched her forehead and stomach decreeing healing and alignment in the name of Yeshua.
She screamed as her stomach burned and writhed in pain.
Mike persisted commanding more of the Lord’s work. Suddenly the pain vanished. It is gone it is gone she exclaimed. By his very presence as a carrier of the Kingdom Mike was changing atmospheres diminishing the powers of darkness in that house.

“I just believe when the Lord said we could do what he did and more I just believe that to be true.” he shares. Persistence and faith built his confidence.
In the villages he prayed for everyone who came and every person he prayed for during those eight or nine days received divine healing.
