Jamall’s Supernatural Deliverance and Spiritual Transformation: From Brokenness to Breakthrough

Jamall experiencing supernatural deliverance through the audible voice of God

The weight of a broken life pressed heavily on young Jamall until supernatural deliverance began to break through the darkness. Growing up in a gritty Section 8 neighborhood, where the air carried the sharp tang of fear and gunshots echoed like distant thunder, he bore scars deeper than skin, shaped by violence and unrelenting loss.

Family gatherings held no warmth, only the sting of resentment and grief in an unbreakable cycle, yet in his deepest pain, the audible voice of God would soon call him toward hope and profound spiritual transformation.

Then came the cascade of heartbreaks: a grandmother’s strokes stealing her away, an aunt and niece lost in a suspicious fire, a relationship shattered. Alone in his room, Jamall’s spirit cracked. But in that quiet desperation, a whisper of hope stirred. He knelt, not in defeat, but in raw honesty, seeking something, someone, beyond the chaos.

The Crisis: A Life Shrouded in Darkness

Jamall’s early years were a battlefield.

His father’s bitterness toward the church stemmed from a raw wound: the local congregation’s refusal to bury his grandfather, a man gunned down by his closest friend. Holidays like Christmas and Easter were mere rituals, empty of true connection. His mother, raised Baptist, planted a seed by teaching him to pray, but church was sporadic at best.

The neighborhood’s transformation into low-income housing brought a flood of troubles, shootings, drug deals, kids leaping from roofs into pools for thrills, fights erupting without warning.

“One thing about those communities that hover is death,” Jamall reflects.

The violence seeped into him, breeding anger and deep scars. Even relocating to the suburbs at 13 offered no escape; the inner turmoil followed, amplified by teens grappling with similar demons in a polished facade.

Tragedy piled on: parental violence forcing him to step in, his grandmother’s passing after multiple strokes, the fiery deaths of his aunt and niece amid family feuds. His girlfriend’s departure was the final blow.

“I was just broken,” he says. “I’m fed up.” The darkness wasn’t just environmental; it was spiritual, a veil of poverty, brokenness, and crime that clung like smoke.

Divine Intervention: The Audible Voice of God Calls Home

In his lowest moment, Jamall turned to prayer, not rote words, but a heartfelt cry: “God, I know the world. I need to know who you are.”

The response was immediate and unmistakable. An audible voice pierced the silence: “Come home.”

It wasn’t a whisper or a thought; it was clear, resonant, the audible voice of God. Jamall didn’t question it.

“I knew who it was,” he recalls.

Home meant church, a congregation to belong to. He dove in, attending his mother’s old Baptist church, moving from spectator to servant, joining membership classes, teaching youth, even singing in the choir despite his self-admitted lack of tune.

This divine intervention marked the start of supernatural deliverance.

Later, at a Potter’s House Super Sunday service amid thousands, a man’s laying of hands sent electricity surging from Jamall’s feet to his head. In seconds, he burst into speaking in tongues, a gift he’d once dismissed as “gibberish.” Days later, alone in bed, a lump in his throat unleashed hours of uncontrollable tongues, a baptism of fire igniting his spirit.

Supernatural Deliverance: Vomiting the Darkness

The pinnacle came during intense study on Yeshua’s baptism.

Again, the audible voice of God spoke, gentle yet powerful, unveiling creation’s “why,” the stars’ placement, the universe’s purpose. But the revelation’s intensity overwhelmed him physically.

“The more I heard, the sicker I got,” Jamall describes. Nausea built to a breaking point; he felt on death’s edge, begging it to stop.

Then, a river of black liquid poured out in vomit, lasting nearly a minute.

“That’s not normal,” he knew. This was supernatural deliverance, God purging the unclean, demonic forces embedded from his past.

“Whatever that was in me, God delivered me from that,” he explains. It followed his water baptism, laying of hands, and fire baptism, a complete spiritual cleansing.

Faith and Prayer: Building a Kingdom Foundation

Jamall’s response was total surrender. He immersed in scripture, fellowship, and service, parking ministry, men’s groups, consistent study.

“Seeking him first with all your heart,” he advises. Prayer wasn’t occasional; it was lifeline, taught by his mother and fueled by his encounters.

Community played a key role. At the bookstore, prompted by the Holy Spirit, he asked about prophecy, receiving books, a job, and opportunities to prophesy over pastors.

“God will build a zeal for you to do the work of the kingdom,” he says.

Faith grew through action, understanding prophecy as “hearing and doing” the Spirit’s guidance. Collective prayer echoed in his journey, mirroring biblical acts like anointed cloths in Acts 19.

The Turning Point: From Skepticism to Spiritual Awakening

Skeptics might call his experiences coincidence or delusion, but Jamall knew otherwise. Doctors or experts weren’t involved here; the battle was internal, spiritual. The black liquid’s expulsion marked the shift, darkness fleeing, light invading.

Where once anger ruled, patience emerged.

“My character changed,” he notes.

Doubts from his past, resentment, disconnection, faded. Friends and family saw the difference, a testament to supernatural deliverance.

“Doctors see hopelessness,” but Jamall’s story defies it, proving faith’s power over spiritual bondage.

Recovery and Transformation: A New Character in Christ

Post-deliverance, Jamall’s life rebuilt. Challenges lingered, renal failure battles, theological wrestlings on suffering, but transformation deepened. “It’s not personality that changes; it’s character,” he emphasizes, embodying kindness, slowness to anger, grace.

Humor lightens reflections: imagining pushing doubters down stairs to test faith, yet choosing grace. Relationships mended; faith solidified. The “greater miracle” was internal, spiritual transformation from broken to bold, distrusting to connected. Ongoing encounters with the audible voice of God guide him, less overwhelming now, a constant companion.

Skeptics, even in churches, question such tales.

“A lot think speaking in tongues is gibberish,” Jamall admits, once sharing that view. But his life proves otherwise, challenging professionals and seekers to consider supernatural deliverance.

Doctors facing chronic ills might see only science, but Jamall urges room for miracles.

“No diagnosis has the final word,” he echoes.

His story inspires: from darkness to light, urging others to seek God intimately. “Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.” Share this testimony; let it spark faith in those bound by unseen chains.
